We went out to dinner. We didn't get dressed up or anything. I was going to wear a black tie, but I was told I would be over-dressed.

We thought the houses on our street were funny. Many of them put up window clings to make it look like they had broken windows, and yellow caution tape. Which is how our place has looked all year, except our place has authentic broken windows and city provided yellow caution barriers.

We also had some snow.

Hey Steam Crowations! Its Brayton here, your friendly, fellow, Convention-Exhibitor from Legendary Costume Works! Love the pics! You guys look outstanding! Dawna's "Bride" is off the hook! The Goblin Boy looks quite dapper as the Invisible Mummy and Daniel- well, you look like a mustachioed, chained lackey. Amy and I had a wonderful Halloween and by the by, have been enjoying Monster Commute vol's I and II very much. Look forward to seeing y'all at the next shindig, probably Wondercon! Take care! ~Brayton

I grew up with the same influences. I had attributed my love of Halloween to the cemetery across the street, but perhaps your cultural theory had something to do with it too!
